Privacy Policy

1. About this policy

This Privacy Policy applies to Coilix (Android package com.coilix.snake.play), a neon snake arcade game published by Inque Labs (“we”, “us” or “our”). It explains how information is stored or processed while you use the game.

This policy is based on the supplied Android app source and privacy documentation. The released app and any later updates should continue to match these disclosures.

2. Information processed and stored

On-device gameplay data. The game uses React Native MMKV for local storage of high scores, local leaderboard entries or nickname labels, mission progress, runs played, earned in-game currency, unlocked and selected snake skins, sound, music and vibration settings, and local advertising preferences. This information supports your saved progress and gameplay experience.

No mandatory user account. The inspected game does not require account registration, a real name, email address or phone number to play. Its displayed scoreboard is based on local state, not a verified online leaderboard service in the reviewed code.

Third-party processing. Google Mobile Ads and Google's consent service can process information independently of local saved progress. This may include IP address (which may indicate approximate location), device and operating-system information, app interactions, ad impressions and clicks, advertising identifiers when available and permitted, crash or performance diagnostics, and signals used for fraud prevention.

3. Google AdMob and other providers

Coilix integrates Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) for interstitial advertisements between eligible game runs and optional rewarded advertisements that players may choose to view for certain in-game benefits. The reviewed Android advertising service does not declare a banner ad unit.

Google may use information for ad delivery, measurement, personalized advertising when applicable and permitted, abuse prevention and service operation. Google and relevant advertising partners process this information under their own policies, and their systems may operate in other countries.

4. Advertising consent and choices

The app integrates Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to support consent messaging and privacy options where required and configured for your region. Available messages and forms depend on your location, applicable regulations and the publisher's AdMob settings.

The Settings screen includes a preference for requesting non-personalized ads and a way to access privacy options where a UMP form is available. The personalization toggle is not itself a replacement for a legally required consent form. Non-personalized ads may still involve data processing for delivery, reporting, security or fraud prevention.

You may also use Android's advertising-ID and privacy controls. Consent availability and correct ad-request handling should be verified in the final released app; this policy does not assert that every user will receive a consent form.

5. Android permissions

The main Android manifest in the reviewed app source lists the following permissions:

The reviewed main manifest does not request precise GPS location, camera, microphone or contacts access. Permissions merged from bundled SDKs should be verified against the final release manifest.

6. Children's privacy

Coilix does not require users to provide personal contact details to play. Nevertheless, advertising SDKs may collect or process device-related information. We do not knowingly request personal information from children through the gameplay interface.

If Google Play's declared target audience includes children, additional Play Families policies and child-specific advertising and privacy safeguards may apply. Parents and guardians may contact us using the email below if they have a concern.

7. Data retention and deletion

Local progress and preferences generally remain on your device until erased. You can remove locally stored app data using Android Settings → Apps → Coilix → Storage → Clear storage, or by uninstalling the app. These actions can permanently reset scores, skins, settings and mission history.

The reviewed Android main manifest specifies android:allowBackup="false". Third-party advertising providers maintain independent retention and deletion policies. Clearing Coilix's local storage does not automatically delete data previously received by Google or its partners.

8. Security

The app stores local progress within its Android application data area and uses HTTPS to load the website Privacy Policy. The inspected MMKV setup does not specify a separate application-level encryption key, so we do not represent saved game data as independently encrypted by Coilix.

No electronic system is risk-free. Google is responsible for the security of its own advertising systems and data processing.

9. Your rights and requests

Depending on applicable laws and your location, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or object to processing of certain personal information, or withdraw consent. For gameplay data stored locally, use the deletion options described above. For data processed by Google, use Google's privacy tools or contact Google where appropriate.

We do not sell players' contact details, and advertising-related sharing or targeted advertising may be subject to additional opt-out rights under local laws.

10. Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy to reflect new game features, third-party services or legal requirements. We will publish the updated text at this address and revise the effective date shown above.
